DESCRIPTION:Products of the Hive and Preparing for Winter\, via Zoom – 4th in series \nProducts of the Hive and Preparing for Winter  Instructors are from Sacramento Area Beekeeper Association and/or California Master Beekeepers Program. \nThis four-session series is designed for individuals brand new to beekeeping or those seeking deeper beekeeping knowledge. The four ½ day sessions will take participants through the annual cycle of beekeeping from establishing a hive\, caring for bees through the seasons\, troubleshooting\, harvesting honey and preparing for winter. Each session will be a combination of lecture and hands-on** practice led by knowledgeable instructors. . (**Due to COVID-19\, hands on will not be available)  The class will refer to the book; First Lessons in Beekeeping by Keith Delaplane.  It can purchased at most bee stores; Mann Lake\, Dadant and on Amazon\, but is not necessary to attend the class.
